Response to 1966 38' Commander SF confirmation
Okay I think I got this right. Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong.


FDA 38 2012 R

FDA designation means Sedan Model (as opposed to FXA express or FFA Sport Fishermen)

38 is the length of course

2 means the second year of production. The Sedan was offered in the original 1964 model line. So,
the 2 means she is a 1966

012 this is the sequential production number making her the 12th '66 Sedan built

R the letter designates the plant where the boat was built. R stands for Roamer
