Response to Electrical system design

Scott:
I will take you up on the phone offer. My cell phone is 571 213 0069. My email is jerry.namken@comcast.net Send me yours and I will call during an evening.

I am making some classic mistakes. There is so much to do on so many fronts, so much I want to do to enjoy the boat with my wife, and so little time to get it all done, my priorties are shifting back and forth. What happens is that I start something only to find that something else has to be completed first. Batteries and engines and how to plan for the unknown becomes the delima, but to me this is part of the fun! I got a lot done this past weekend, but nothing on what I set out to do.

However, of all craftsman work, I am weakest at electrical understanding and way down on the learning curve. I do have Nigels' book and probably six others that I have been putting off reading. I can not even do an inventory because I don't even know what I am looking at. The Summer Palace has an electrical box full of buzz fuses, another of breakers, a third with car fuses, and a whole lot of PO wiring that even I know is not to code. So I know I have a problem. I can put on paper what I would like to end up with. It is the in-between work that is scaring me.

So talking through a design and setting up what has to occur would be way useful!
Thanks for the offer!
Jerry
