427 camshafts

Response to oil consumption
When it comes to 427 camshafts, there are two kinds, the center oiler version, and the side oiler version, and although they will both fit interchangably, they won't WORK (very long) if installed in the wrong block. This is the big difference in rebuilding a side oiler, you MUST obtain the proper cam (and SPECIFIC cam bearings for the side oiler). Otherwise, you are not routing the oil in the manner intended.
