Welcome aboard. I know you are going to love your boat. We bought ours out of an estate and she had been sitting for a year or so. The previous owner was a bit of a cad and spent lots of time boozing her around Lake Erie. The toe rail, rub rail and stern looked like he practiced his sand wedge off the gel coat cause there were divots every six or eight feet. In short, she was, and in many respects still is, a work in progress. We attacked the cosmetic first along with considerable attention to mechanical. Fortunately for us she only had 600+/- hours on her 6-92 DD's and they were at the factory setting of 425 HP. With the exception of several broken rocker arms and fouled injectors she has run well since we owned her.
I'd say if you would publish your want list or needs list here on the forum, someone is going to have a resource for you. I have several contacts here in Detroit, Mt. Clemens, Algonac so if you have specifics drop me a line. Another 45 owner is Bill Thomas who lives in the village of St. Clair, has done a remarkable renovation on his TF. Bill sometimes graces us with his comments here on the forum. If you can make contact with him, he probably knows more about this boat than anyone except Dick Avery.
Publish some photos of your new girl. We'd all love to see em.
