how many rpms???

Response to Hull sheet info from Mariner's Museum.
I wouldn't spin those Crusader 454's any faster than 4400 rpms. They are basically stock passenger engines. Torque probably peaks at 3200 or so. Rated at 350 hp. at 4400 rpms is 417 ft. lbs. of torque at 4400, btw. Cruise at 3000 rpms and they'll live forever.
