Thanks for the insight into Trojans. Our little Seabreeze was typical of the times, just a simple plywood cabin cruiser. Lotsa good looking mahogany that was well fitted. Biggest fault was it was underpowered..60 hp. 4 cylinder inboard. My dad hada 95 hp. 6 installed, and really woke the boat up.
Seems like CC and Owens were the first to jump on the V-8 bandwagon. My impression of Owens was they were bigger and had less mahogany, but otherwise were adequate hulls.
