| People do the darndest things. The person (a previous owner?) who did that work surely had good intentions for himself, but oooh boy. I just hate to see someone go after a classic boat or car, or even crack a can of paint, without appreciation of what it is they're working on. There are people that would practically give their left arm, or some other body part, to own a Commander, and yet there are others who would wallpaper over mahogany, and do a custom hunting lodge addition on the aft section of an Express.
I agree it can probably be brought back to original, and probably not all that difficult either. There would be about 10 trips to the dumpster right off the bat.
