Response to Another reason to inspect those hoses
Your previous post got my attention, but this helps drive the point home. Even though the hose may look good, it may be rotten on the inside. Same with older cars too.

I like your approach to checking things and replacing them before a problem happens. Good operating procedure! I dare say there are a lot of captains out there who have never touched some of these hoses and don't have a clue as to how old they are or if they have ever been replaced. Funny thing about equipment failure, it always seems to be at the worst possible time.
