| Good going, dude, I'm interested in seeing what the inside of the tanks look like. They can still have very dangerous fumes inside, so don't cut a hole unless you fill them with CO2 or something. Be safe.
Don't sit your aluminum tanks on a piece of wood. I understand that is a major source of corrosion. Get a piece of 3 or 4" wide agricultural flat drive belt and cut that for a nice resting place between the wood structure and your aluminum tanks. Here's hoping your work will bring you many pleasant returns, and good memories for lots of people.
