First, thanks Dave, for the reference. I will need to pick up a pair of these for next season. I am concerned about water seperation these days, becuase of all the talk about alcohol in fuel, etc. So far in Alabama we don't seem to have the problem people in Ohio and New England have. These old Groco filters do a good job getting junk out, but they don't do such a good job with the water issues. The new Racor fuel/water seperator jobs seem to be an upgrade I may consider sometime in the future.
If you're going to use one of these on an inboard boat, you can't use the plastic like I show here in the photo. I just showed it as an example. They make one just like it with a metal bottom housing.
