yes, Curt, I'm an optimist allright, but I'm also a realist too. Good info about the hourmeter, by the way, I had overlooked that detail. We'll give it a go with this motor, just to see what happens, but if there are any signals of unreliability or undue wear on this motor, etc., it comes out. If it stays, we'll go over the critical ancillary items and replace or rebuild them. I wouldn't rule out a mid winter test run. I want to know if this boat will perform well during the season, because I don't want to be fixing it then! If the old motor comes out, no telling what goes back in
