Hi Bill, the parts being displayed (the dead ones we removed) are marine parts. The Fuel pump says "Marine" on it, and the solenoid appears to be original equipment (but hard to tell). We had to temporarily install an automotive electric fuel pump, although I'd be suprised if there is any difference with that part. But we have marine grade ordered. The replacement solenoid is new old stock (probably 20 or 30 years old) -- I didn't look at where it was made, but probably USA being that old. I knew one existing solenoid was getting weak, so I bought the new old stock one off of eBay a couple of months ago and had it in hand.
The guy holding the parts is the co-owner of our boat. I was originally going to buy it by myself, but I'm sure glad now that I didn't. Together we have put in well over 700 hours working on the boat since July, and that wouldn't have been nearly as much fun doing all that by myself. And for all the challenges we have had, two brains are definitely better than one.
Best wishes, Curt....
