We all know what opinions are like and I'm certain others will differ, but I've always done little more than debur the slot and opening in both Ford and Genesis blocks; never focused on trying to make it larger. One additional point though, you must make sure that the oil flow back into the pan remains unimpeded. Check the pan gasket and/or the windage tray and/or the oil pan lip do not close or partially close the drain-back. There is very little problem with factory parts but the after market parts can present problems.
