Thanks for the response to my issues. I have not had the car very long and driven it very little. The clutch noise is there both when the car is in gear and in neutral. The knocking is gone when you just start to feel the clutch pressure and returns when the clutch pedal is released. And the noise came all of a sudden without any warning noises or symptoms.
