332-428 Ford FE Engine Forum: Solid Lifter Question

Solid Lifter Question November 3 2008 at 2:01 PM		(Login cyclone03) Members


After assembling my 390 stroker and clening up all the empty boxes I noticed the label on my solid lifters say "All Ford V8 Except FE". Ok now what do I do? I blocked off the lifter oil passages in the block and I'm not oiling threw the pushrods.Will these work or am I setting myself up for failure down the road? Thanks
