How do I hook up my dwell meter to a TI system. I tried hooking up to the coil side where the ti wire connects to the coil. I then ran the other dwell wire to a ground. The dwell keeps coming back at around 41. I must be doing something wrong. Maybe I need to hook in at the distributor wire, before the coil? Could idle speed affect the dwell readings? My idle is set at 750.
I adjusted the single point from .019 down to .015 and nothing changed, the car ran the same. Tomorrow, I will regap and go back to .021 and try that and recheck the dwell. Any other ideas? Thanks
