A Tribute to Warren Pateman, may his memory and spirit live on!

Paul

This is a abbreviated photo album of Warren, Del, Graeme, and their living environment.

Regretably, Warren passed away peacefully yesterday, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Our hearts and prayers are with Delma and the rest of the family.

Warren (left) and Graeme Robertson, friends of 60 years.

Warren's title of this photo is "Warren, doing what Warren likes doing".

Warren with his grandson, Harrison. Passing the Chris Craft Commander heritage on to the next generation. This is one of the later photos of Warren.

The embodiment of the Aussie spirit.

The love of Warren's life, Delma Pateman.

Warren and Delma, many good times together.

Warren would say, "any time is party time aboard Bambi".

Head of the security detail, Mufti, one lucky dog, indeed!

Dinner coming aboard!

Warren posing in the galley area, showing off the big smile many of us got to know though correspondence with this wonderful man.

In addition to the personal and family photos in this thread, there are around 100 additional photos of his pride and joy, BAMBI, a 1965 38 Commander Sport Fisherman, which he stripped down to bare glass and totally rebuilt and remodeled, inside and out.

For the story of this restoration, in Warren's words, check the following link. It's a very well written piece of literature, and it gives insight into the thoughts, expectations, and decision making process this very informed boater went through during this exciting project. http://www.network54.com/Forum/424840/message/1136636730
