is immediate. If you're waiting for your application to a forum to be approved, that's up to the forum owner. He/she has to check for new applications & approve them, so I guess it's essentially a matter of how often he/she does that. If you have an email address to the forum owner (or even any other members who could notify him of your application), you might get your application approved faster. That is, assuming that's the problem...
