The table template I have been using for several years no longer seems to work at Forum 172251 (I Spy Forum). Has something changed that I should know about? Thank you.

Regards

Yes. We've recently added in a new HTML parser. We added support for tables but it may filter some of the attributes your table is using. If you post the code here (turning off the "Enable formatted text" checkbox) I can look in the code and add in the attributes that your table uses.

Hi Marlene,

Thanks for posting the code.

I have one recommendation for this part of your signature:

<a href=http://www.musicplaylist.net/>

Make sure you put quotes around the "http://www.musicplaylist.net" - that should get that part working. I'm also working on the "embed" tag part, hopefully will have a fix available soon.

I ADDED THE QUOTATION MARKS WHERE YOU SAID BUT...NADA
MAYBE I'M NOT PUTTING THEM IN THE RIGHT PLACE?

Hi Marlene,

I'm still working on it. Just wanted to make sure that one part of your sig would be fixed. The embed tag that you're using is a little more complicated, but I'm working on it now.

Thanks, Chris, I appreciate your help. Here’s a sample table:
<br><table><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>A.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/1_019.jpg<br><br></td></tr><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>B.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/2_227.jpg<br><br></td></tr><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>C.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/3_116.jpg<br><br></td></tr><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>D.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/4_050.jpg<br><br></td></tr><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>E.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/5_192.jpg<br><br></td></tr></table>

I'm going to try this again. I unchecked the Enable Formatted Text box but I don't think it worked.
One more time:
<br><table><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>A.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/1_019.jpg<br><br></td></tr><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>B.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/2_227.jpg<br><br></td></tr><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>C.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/3_116.jpg<br><br></td></tr><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>D.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/4_050.jpg<br><br></td></tr><tr align=center valign=center><td width=5%>E.</td><td width=90%>http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m107/bulwer/dance/5_192.jpg<br><br></td></tr></table>

"Yes. We've recently added in a new HTML parser."

Ah, that's the problem! sad.gif

Most of the discussion here appears to be about signatures, but I (presently) don't have one. The problem which concerns me, is that all "A HREF" and IMG tags have been blocked from message bodies. The "auto-markup" does admittedly still function for inline images and link URLs, but being prohibited from linking words in the text and arranging (positioning, border, sizing and linking) images, does not make for clear and neat postings.

My question - is this an accident, or a policy implementation perhaps related to external advertising or phishing concerns?

Creating tables

Hello to all, I wonder if there were changes in the policy of posting of the tags for creating tables?

I'm from Brazil and the translation was done by Google.

As you can see here:

Please just tell us what do this "new html parser" filters the (table) attributes for? Just let us know...

Note that these "filtered attributes" are the CSS compatible attributes and tags.
- Just nowadays when all sites need to be fully compatible with this pattern. It seems we are sailing against the wind.

The (p align) tag isn't working too...

- Thank you N54 crew for your good work.

The HTML table tags and the CSS stylesheets are working on our forums again.

Nice job.
