Okay, this is not NW 54 related.  I got a new computer and now I can't post pictures either by inserting or C&P.  All that is seen by others is the box with the red X.  Also, I am suddenly having to sign on each time I go to my forum that is for private realms...

Any suggestion as to the settings?

Thanks guys!!!

Susan

... there is a security feature or program on your computer that is blocking it.

If you have Norton, well, I recommend getting rid of it completely, but if you can't do that, then configure it to allow Network54 to access cookies and run javascript. I don't know how to do that, so you will have to consult Norton and their documentation.

Make sure your browser is set to allow Network54 to write cookies and run javascript. How to do this depends entirely on what browser and version you are using.

Make sure your firewall is set to allow access to Network54. How to do this depends on what firewall you are using.

You may have one or more of these in place. You'll have to hunt through the documentation that came with your computer to see which ones they pre-installed for you.

And that is why I hate buying computers off the shelf; too much preinstalled garbage that cripples it out-the-box.

I am running Trend Micro anti-virus.  I paid an extra 150 bucks for them to remove all the start up crap...

Thanks, I will try to find out if there are any firewall issues...in the meantime if anyone else can think of anything, let me know!

With all of the "new" stuff between Vista, IE 7 and 8, plus all of the others out there, it would help to let us know if you found a solution so the next person to have that problem might get a head start on it......
