Yes it's not one of the true 50 made. It looks good nonetheless and has some "incorrect" items (chrome trim and hupcaps) from pictures I was sent. Keep your eyes and ears open for any of the missing "real" ones.
There have been a few threads about the blue lambreth cloth for the hardtops and sportroof models. Does anyone out there have a current source for it? Jim
For you people wanting to know what your 1972 is worth.
The 72 sprint fastback package w/351C 15" Magnum 500
wheels ect. a fuul ground up restore it`s worth is between
$12,000 to $24,000
1100 to 1400 fastback were made that is a very low number of
production. Two packages were built one with a 302 standard,
and the other w/351C 15" Magnum 500 wheels (The higher priced package)
and less made.
This is Fact.
32 are in someones hands and four have been junked. I'm still looking for the other 14 which could be in FL, TX, MD, VA, DC, NC, TX or anywhere else for that matter.
I have a 86k restored paint wise in 1991 and is very solid good running car.Factory a/c-p/s-p/b-auto-302 2v engine.will be glad to send photos and more info.
