If anyone out there has a decent set of front seat covers for a Sprint, I would be interested in them. I will eventually get new seat covers, but for now, I would be satisfied with good used ones. I have been watching on Ebay and missed out on a good set recently. Thanks.

I would love to find the old car my father owned. His name was Tom Dozier and he was a member of the Tampa Mustang club here in Florida. My father had to sell the car, because his health. It was beautiful and it was his baby. He took care of that car just like he took care of all six of his kids. I miss that car. And my father Tom just pasted this year 2008 in Aug of cancer.
Wish I knew who has the BABY. My father had that car for awhile here in Tampa. He won trophies with me right by his side at all times. I was his little mustang girl. I drove the car and others we owned always to the car show, Even in Cypress Gardens we went to those shows all the time. My Uncle Ric Mank was also in the club and owned the mustangs. I had one myself a 73 Fast back. LOVED IT.
Thanks again
How long ago did your Dad own the Sprint? Was it a hardtop, sportroof, or convertible? In my 17 years of living in Florida, the only Sprint I have ever seen has been my own, which came to Fl. from Pa.
My son is a member of the Tampa Mustang Club. Perhaps he can check with some of the members for you. Email me if I can help.

I have owned my current Sprint Sportroof for nearly 5 years now. Last Summer, I located and purchased a Sprint Maverick. By this time next week, I should have received delivery of a Sprint Pinto, the hardest of the 3 to find. I am excited!
What a great find. Where did you find the Pinto model? I would love to see pictures of all three when you have together. Can send pictures to cms.luttrell@juno.com. Thanks, Marsha
HI JIM,
Congratulations !
Really happy for you...Having found a Maverick Sprint is particular but having found a PINTO Sprint...It's really amazing...I would be happy to have those pics too to put them on my files by the way !(Like Marsha !)
That could be great to have the VIN of them 3 too...
Enjoy them and like we always say '' DON'T CRUSH THEM, RESTORE THEM ''...
CHEERS!

If you go on the Maverick/Comet forums in the general discussion section, there is a thread about the Pinto, titled Anybody live near Grand Rapids, Mich. On page 2 of the thread, there is a picture of the Pinto taken at a car show there in front of a Diner.
If you click on my name, coutangman, in the images section, you can see my Mustang and Maverick, along with some of my other cars taken at my farm in Florida. The Maverick is still a project. Let me know what you think.
HELLO JIM,
Well , Congratulations !
A great collection you have and now with that Sprint 72 PINTO...you have them 3...AMAZING !
Only a 72 Sprint Convertible is missing...hiihihihi!
And If you have all 3 MARTI REPORT for those ... it's perfect!
I'm steel searching for the vin before mine and after mine on the production line...
Really don't know If It's a Sprint 72 or not but my VIN is 184841 and was built at the Dearborn plant in mach 22 1972.
Check on your side maybe your Sprint is not far from mine ?
Another time you have a great car collection... I'm in a hurry to see your PINTO Sprint on one of your pics !
TAKE CARE!
ERIC
I was not able to see the Utube in your post. The one that was made for this car has been deleted by the person who made it. However, he sent me via email the video, so if any of you would like it, I will pass it on if it will transfer via email from me to you. Email me at coutangman@bellsouth.net.
This video was taken when he went to look at the car. Some cosmetic improvements have ben made since then. I am still in the process of doing more to the interior, engine bay, and underneath the car which has some surface rust common to these old cars. No major rust issues, though.
