What is the difference? How many other suspension systems were used on the Sprints. How would I tell whats on my Sprint. The previous owner had air shocks installed, I guess to haul something. I haven't changed them back yet as I haven't started the restoration. Soon as I win the lottery. :~/
The build sheet for my Sprint did not specify suspension specs,(see my post,"Build sheet, '72 Sprint 'A' Pkg", dated 12/10).
My guess is that the suspension is still intact except the shocks. Not much outside the paint job has change as far as I can tell. I think the interior has been redone, in the Sprint theme too. The red roping around the seat inserts is white. The carpets are not orig.. Though they are the right color blue.
There is minor rust in all those infamous '70s Mustang rust places on the body. Don't believe the car was ever hit either.
What does the 'EC' stand for on the buck tag? What is 'BO'? And what is 'X' for transmission on the door sticker. (again see my post of 12/10)
My wife has never ridin in nor drivin the car. After one of my gigs in L.A. I drove it home to E. Washington and it went into storage. She initially thought I was nuts. Ya see, she went thru my Tiger phase too. But being the lady she is lets me play. Gotta Love her!!! She giving me a thousand bucks for Christmas "to go to the Sprint, she said". Shes tired of hearin all about Sprint this and Sprint that. She wants a ride!!!! She dug the Tigers. She'll like the Sprint Mustang too!!
So needless to say, I gave her a grand to go play. Wonder what shes gonna do. :~\ Bet I get more Beatle stuff too. Kewl!!
Anyway....nuff babbling....just wonderin about the suspension thing and give abit more 'bout my Sprint..
