Does anyone know where I can find aftermarket camshafts for a B2200? Would love to get a little more power out of this thing.

Thanks,

Check out carparts.com it seems to me that they have
3-types offered for 2.0 or 2.2

I think they have headers also w/smog and ox conn.

good luck

If you want a cam go to www.fast-freddys.com. this will help with the power problem you face. Also go to www.clutchmasters.com and get a light weight flywheel too. you can also get a carb at fast freddys also. One last thing if you are wanting to get some serious power go to www.nosnitrous.com look at the sports man fogger system part#05030 it's for an rx7 rotary with carb but if you drill the holes in your intake manifold it will work. Well hope this makes you faster.

Does anybody know what Doug was talking about above? I could easily get some of those and see how they do.

I can't find the cams that you're talking about on CarParts.com. I found one cam for a 626/MX6 on there but those have 12v heads and B2200 has 8v heads so I don't think it would work. It's 1/3 the price of the Fast Freddy's cam though.. if you can point me straight to the cams that you found on CarParts.com then I'll take a look and likely buy one to check it out.

Go to Blazespeedshop.com He doesn't list the Mazda on his website - but I bought a cam from him and it really improved the midrange power. He has VERY reasonable prices and his Stage 1 cam works with the stock springs. He can custom grind anything you want.
That, a header, and a weber have really woken up my B2000 and made it a lot more fun to drive!

I've got a Blazespeed B2200 camshaft I'd like to sell. I bought for my truck but sold the truck before I installed the cam. It is for the F2 engine w/8 valve head. E-mail me and let me know.

I also bought one for my 626 and I saw a big improvement in low end torque.
