B2200 Cab Plus 1988 2WD 125K miles: recently had the clutch replaced, and the mechanic said the engine oil seal and the transmission shaft seal were NOT leaking, that my oil leaks were from the valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket. So I'm going to replace these myself (Carquest stocks the parts); anything special I need to keep in mind? I am experienced (30 years ago as VW mechanic, have done most of my own work on the B2200 except for the clutch). My service manual says I need to remove an idler arm to get the oil pan out, and I can do that. I might also replace the distributor oil seal but dealer has to special order that (I do have a timing light for that). Any hints or help would be appreciated. Thanks.
