Hi, I have an 89 B2000 and recently I experienced a wild tachometer needle on the highway. I was going 65-70 mph and the needle would suddenly jump (always up) to 5000 or 6000 indicated rpm, and the engine hesitated briefly at the same time. Usually I just floored it and things smoothed out. Any suggestions? Thanks!
