hello.........i have an 82 b2000.....the motor is going...i was wondering what is the best solution to this....do i get the motor rebuilt...buy a new one of whats in there....or what else might fit in there......what i would like to do is put a 302 in there....am i nuts or will it work.........i am open to any suggestions on what to do......

The guy I bought my 86 B2000 had a 82 B2000 that did just that, you'll ned a few modfications and a heavy duty transaxel to make it work.

p.s. run your exhaust pipes out the side for a nice effect
