I want to know if anybody has any idea why when I go fill up the tank on my 97 millenia S it never reaches FULL,the farthest it goes is almost to 3 quarts of the tank and wont take no more gas. Also Im noticing that the gasoline is gone ridiculously fast. If anybody knows or has an idea what the problem might be let me know

Post back letting us know whether the quick gas usage is your take from the gauge or from filling up, then measuring the amount used at next fill up and comparing to mileage driven. If it's a gauge issue, it's usually the fuel sender itself, inside the gas tank. |

The quick gas usage is read from the gauges itself. I just bought the car a week ago and I've already had to fill it up premium 4 times, and I only travel about 15 to 20 miles a day. What concerns me is the fact that the car does not reach FULL and the gas goes extremely fast. At this rate I might have to sell it soon. I hope anybody can tell me if they have an idea what the problem is,it would be appreciated. | |
