I Own A 1991 mazda b2200 and have been recently having problems..with stumbling when the pedal is first pushed.. And loses power on the highway when i am trying to reach the speed limit..this only occurs when the motor is cold when the motor warms up i have all the hamsters in the world ..I am told that i need a carb kit and need to rebuild the carb to remedy the problem.. But the mechanics here will not touch it because they are afraid of wrecking it That is what they say.. Is there anyone out there that has experienced this problem that could shed some light on the subject! Thanks,Tony

sounds like your accelerator pump is worn or passages pluged.

I had similar problems with my 1989 B2200.The solution I found best was to run fuel injector cleaner in your fuel.
That will clean any varnish from the electronic controls in the carb. These carbs are prone to this promlem and must be maintained on a regular basis like this.Hope tis helps Peter.

If I remember correctly there is a fuel mixture solenoid in this carburetor. If the solenoid plunger sticks, you may get very lean or rich mixture, which will affect drivability of the vehicle..
