I think I may have told this story before, but it definitely applies to your story.
My wife wanted to so some home improvements so I swung past Wal-mart on the way back from the gym. Luckily it was only 7:30 a.m. so not many people were shopping. I had, unfortunately, forgotten to pack a belt that morning so my cargo shorts kept slipping down.
As I made my way from the pet department toward the checkout, I was carrying two gallons of paint in one hand and two glass bowls and a beta fish in the other hand (of course I didn't get a cart or a basket). Quicker than I can imagine, the shorts dropped to the floor. With nowhere to put my things, I just laid them on the floor, bent over and pulled the shorts back up...but not before giving a full, hairy moon to anyone who happened to be looking.
To this day, I am still not sure if anyone saw me. But being in such a small town and being a pastor, I'm sure that there was talk. Enjoy things like that! It's what makes life a little less dull. |
