Mark has pretty much said it all. I would add the "euro" cam (euro 1500 carb, 85hp) to the first group, very similar to S2 and 35/75.

Also, I would suspect that contrary to the small block Chevy, noone has done any development on street camshafts for our motor in the last 30 years.
That's why you won't find anything more modern than the good old stuff.
