Sears will meet Tire Rack prices October 21 2008 at 6:37 AM		Allen Mandlebaum


I saw a Sears ad for Sumitomo tires this weekend, so I inquired about them. Sears carries VERY few models in the 13" and 14", but they did have some 195/60 14 Sumitomos in the warehouse. Sears price, with balancing, taxes and old tire disposal fee was $325.50. I showed them the Tire Rack pricing that I had printed off and Sears agreed to meet the price - a savings of over $50.00. If you are considering new tires, you might want to take Tire Racks pricing over to your local Sears store to see if they will meet Tire Racks prices. Allen
