Anyone have any measurements of the weight of bare 4v heads and an aluminum head?  Just trying to get an idea how much weight I'll be taking off the motor by going to alum. heads.

a bare 4v head weighed 52lbs on the school nurse's scale where i teach.

weighed on my bathroom scale, so couldbe a couple of pounds to the low side.....

So, based on that, looks like about a 30#/head savings, or 60# overall.

My C302's are the same way. Better then a 2 for 1 deal. Both heads weigh less then one iron head. Significant if you do any racing to lose that kind of weight. Unfortunately I need to lose about 30lbs too.
