Response to Propane Engine

The late great Ak Miller was big into LP. He had many combinations that ran from low key conversion all the way up to turbocharged LP running in Ford F250's. It would seem it is a good way go with a few drawbacks, but nothing that can't be ironed out. One of the biggest areas of concern would be refueling when the timing wasn't the best(late nignt on a saturday), but that can be evened out with a spare tank. As for the exhaust valve, a lot of that stems from unharden seats(harden seat should be OK). Ak also had mentioned something about the engine oil getting too thick from running on LP but I can't remember much about it. I hope this is some food for thought.
