Southland Edsel Owners Club at a Sunday car show.

A few Edsels at a car meet this last Sunday. They were at Galpin Ford celebrating 60 years in business.
The first car Bert Boeckmann (onwer of Galpin Ford) ever sold was a 1959 four door Corsair in December of 1959. The Edsel dealership at that time was called Modern Edsel, location San Fernando, Ca.. They actually bought that car back and just completed a frame on restoration of the car. It was inside their museum so I did not get photos, but it looked very good. When I'm back there again I'll try and get some photos.
These were some of the members cars from the Southern California area. I joined their club today. They are a pretty active club, and a nice group of people.
