My name is Sam retired PO in Mass. I guess I came upon this site by accident.. I have been into these since my first
car my father bought in 1961 when I got my license in being a 1958 Mercury Park Lane Conv. a "J Code". I really could
not get those carbs in sinc. so I put a regular 4bbl intake on it. After all those years I cry about that. That got traded
for a 1959 MK4 4dr totally loaded witch I still have today, but the Park Lane rules. Around 1965 I bought a 1958
4dr Turn Pike Cruiser Loaded exept AC but has Multi Drive. I still have this car today. So I seem to be a hard core
430 guy. And also years ago we put a 430 in a 1950 Ford F8 dump truck simply swaping ex. manifold left to right so
they dump from the front (custom Pipes) a 390FE belhousing most dont know 390s go right on 383/430. F8 was a
little tough on gas but POWER. Thats my story and also before I drop, I will find a white/gold interior 4dr Phaeton,
1958 Mercury Park Lane. I closing I do have some photos as soon as I find out how to post them Thank you all
