43O Crank Seal Leak
Posted: Tue 6. Aug 2019, 08:54
Hi Guys im Barry from the UK
I have posted a few pictures of myself, the wife and my 1960 Lincoln Continental Convertible 430ci.
Does anyone know how many of these cars are still in existence.
I have a leak on the main crank seal does anyone know if the rubber seals are better than the older type rope seals. I dont know the history of the engine apart from what ive done over the last two years and if the crank has been ground. Do the new seals take any slack up in this if the crank has been worked on.
Does anyone know where i can get a new seal kit for the steering gearbox
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Barry
