Feel free to introduce yourself. No obligation off course, but a nice way to get known to you a little. It's allways good to know your first name. Jeff or John sounds better than, "hey linc58prm2_1......"

Hey Everyone - My name is Eddie and I just picked up a '66 Continental Vert - definitely one of my dream cars. I live in the Bay Area and was looking for a club to join. Anyone know of any Lincoln clubs (or classic car clubs) in Northern California? I can't wait to dive into my project and see all of yours. I'm sure I'll be visiting frequently with lots of questions.

Congradulations on your car....

The biggest Lincoln Club is LLOC. They hold a Western Meet every year.

Welcome to the forum. Nice car!

The club is called LCOC (Lincoln Continental Owners Club).
You should definitely join this forum for non-MEL questions: http://www.thelincolnforum.net/phpbb3/index.php

Non MEL related questions? Something wrong w. their "Engine and Drivetrain" section? It's the most crowded section at the LCOC and probably 90% MEL related. Isn't it?

Well, I meant for questions about your car that don't pertain to the motor (although there is lot's of very good info about that). I'm not sure how much every section of the forum accounts for the total amount of threads.
