OH MY FREAKING GOD

I spoke to this guy... this is not an intake manifold, THIS IS A HOLMAN MOODY 430 ENGINE COMPLETE WITH HILBORN FUEL INJECTION AND CHROME HEADERS.

Probably a sprint car engine, it has a modified valve train, and probably very big high compression pistons and a custom camshaft. REMEMBER HOLMAN MOODY CAMPAIGNED 10 THUNDERBIRDS IN NASCAR.

This engine is the real deal 430 racing engine from the day. MAN I WISH IT WAS CLOSER.

Thanx for the correction. I was sent an e-mail too, but didn't had the time to correct the add. Sounds like an interesting, maybe the ultimate 430 combo.
The last time I called Moody, they were producing this awesome H&M GT 40. I was very surprised to see them still in business.

Could also be a Bill Stroppe (sp) engine. He was involved with H&M in Long Beach for a few years and did a lot with the 430 in boats. Odds are if this is set up for a boat, Stroppe had his hands on it. Made some wicked fast boats back in the day. TJR

I asked the gentleman for photos, also sent him my fax # as he required to wire it this way. he doesn't seem to have unlimited access to the net and maybe can't shoot digital photos.
He's currently having difficulties to reach my fax #. Anyone knows how to call Germany?Actually it's +49. Does that stand for dialing a zero, 4,9, or do you dial just 49?

Should have valve covers like Slovers's, with an M on it, runs a Hilborn injection, has a Clay Smith custom grind cam in it.
They had some in experimental boat hulls called scow bows. I don't know what that means. Red Wilson and Jim Ryan raced the boats. TJR

Not a boat engine.... this is a sprint car engine most likely.... Chrome headers, in and out gearbox. Either a spring car or a drag racer.

Theo was supposed to get some pics. I spoke to the owner of this engine, this is a sprint car or dragster engine. ... but it would have some SERIOUS parts on it... and is probably not a pump gas motor... but what a cool engine.. I want to see it too.
