Valvetrain Geometry
The length of push rods are the same;
Standard 9.767" L
Then you have an .060" U/S and O/S for valve adjustments.
The early MEL 58/60 used the same rocker as the FE. In 1961 it went to a specific LINC PN. I don't know what the change was about. But the push rods remained the same length.
FYI...The early FE hydraulic rockers had a 1.73 ratio whereas the adustible had a 1.76" ratio. I do not know the ratio of the later LINC specific rockers.
So you need to allow all of this to retain proper valvetrain geometry.MEL had a lot of valvetrain changes in initial release but something else happened in 1961. I do not know what that is yet.
