Heater / Water Hose Routing

Post by notebooms » Wed 11. Feb 2009, 16:15

Just finished rebuilding the 430 MEL for my '62 Lincoln. Can anyone help me with proper heater / water hose routing? I understand between the water pump and radiator, but need to know about the two on the back of the intake manifold, the smaller connection on the water pump and the heater core / system itself.

I don't see any diagrams related to this in the factory manual.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here are two photos of a 62 installation. Not too clear but may help you. Just ask for any more info-

That will be the return port from the line that runs down the left side of the intake manifold.

Photo is of a 63 LINC, but the ports are the same-
