Another option for 430 pistons?

I was looking all over this wonderful planet for some good used .020 over (or bigger) replacement pistons, and a buddy of mine said "hey, those 462 pistons on Baker's auto look correct, but they are .080 larger than the 430." This got me to thinking, maybe since my stockers are all still good, (the motor just sat open with the heads off for around 4 years) maybe it will be just as cost effective to sleeve the block....

What do you guys think?

It costs about 1400 bucks for a set of Wiseco custom pistons... so make your call.

I wouldn't buy spit from Bakers.

$1400 is too rich for my blood. Do you forsee any issues with sleeving the block?

Lots of builds have bored them 80 over anyway... Brian Perrenot, with his vintage dragster the Gizzlehopper is running 100 thou over pistons. My current build is 40 thou over, so the block was bored .045
