I have been told that there is a neoprene rear main seal that is better than the old rope seal, and that it can be installed with a special tool without too much disassembly, maybe even with the engine still in the car by just dropping the oil pan.
can anybody advise me? Any advice would be appreciated. My email is paulsedel at comcast dot net

I wonder what brand they are. Is it home brewn stuff or does it come from one of the major manufacturers?Treinarts wrote:Rubber rear main seals pop up all the time on EBAY. TJR
