As for the six duce set up, I'll pick up some of the Demon replica Stomberg 97s. Not going to try to revive six old carbs.

Stock 430 tri power bare manifold. It was clean, glass beaded I think.

Between $400-500 would be a great deal. Some that even need repairs are going for that. If someone ends up with it...show us some photos.

Slowly but surely the rebuild is moving along. There is a linkage problem now, it appears there's some special bracket needed for the center carb for the linkage to function properly. Looks a lot different from the original photos on page one. I will keep everyone posted. I just hope it's not snowing up here before I get the finished product.

You might want to contact Joe Bunetic. I know his info is on here somewhere. Do a search if you have to. He is the Ford tri power genius. He may have one or can get you one or make it...who knows! It looks reeeeeeal niiiiiiice! Can't wait to see it all done. What will you do with the hood clearance?

I took everyone's advise and Joe built the linkage, he is now being contacted about he bracket. I am just keeping my fingers crossed regarding the hood clearance. If it doesn't fit, I will just have to rebuild another 430 for another project, maybe a 56 Mark II.

I've got a solution if your interested but you will need a donor hood. I have several for my 66-67 and I may have to do this if I add spacers like I intend to. With my 66/67 the hood will close with a 2" filter (but not with that S.M. cover) but I did not have a spacer mocked up either. I know its very close but I believe 65 and earlier have less hood clearance but I could be wrong.
My proposition is getting a donor hood and making a nice low rise slit across the front of the hood and raising it 1" just like the 1953-54 Packard Caribbean. They have glass hoods but its something that can be done with some cutting on our steel hoods. I will be doing this to avoid the need for an actual hood scoop which a Lincoln would look weird with...but its been done! Good luck and if it done fit..chrome everything out and go hoodless!
