63, 64 and 65 all have a four barrel intake. From memory... you can use 63, 64 and 65 430 intake & heads as a set . The 66 and 67 462 intake & heads have a different size runners. So, the runners in the 462 heads are smaller than the runners in the 430 intake manifolds... resulting in an obstruction...

A 180 thermostat sounds like a good plan in that environment. The heads can stay on. But you need to undo the motor & tranny mounts + lift the engine 2 inches (put blocks of wood between the block and 'frame', then remove the jack) to be able to reach the bottom four nuts on the exhaust manifolds. I found a new camshaft to OEM design by Falcon Global (on eBay). They are the exact same item as Egge offers. Falcon Global is cheaper though - I made them an offer below their asking price which they took.
