finally figured this out on this motor but still do not know the firing order, took me a min to under stand the right hand -counter clockwise , a chain would turn the same way but gear to gear is rh cc, was there a manual i could buy for this motor application from chris craft

In this the flywheel is actually in the rear of the engine,is was put in like a vdrive,but the velvet drive connects to the front of the engine on the crankshaft on a big splined dampner,thanks so much for correct sequence

this is a 1960 stock chris craft ,the cam manufacture was lincoln it has gear to gear drive no timing chain, it has never been touched unless possibly by chris craft this was a one owner boat. restoring so did not want to change ,had the cam reground ,so they should know what they ground it to.
