Re: Super Marauder tripower carb alternatives
I found a site on line that lists all the vintage carbs. I was able to find every carb made for 58 mecury's inlcuding tripowers. they also list the rebuild kit which gives me the opinion that if they use the same kit in the same year they should work ok on my intake. the site is carbkitsource.com. I...

Super Marauder tripower carb alternatives
Hello, just picked up an original ford supermarauder tripower intake for my 58 Park Lane. It has the proper outer carbs but center is missing. Is there a good alternative carb to use if I can't find an original. I also will need linkage. Is aftermarket available or does it need to be custom made. Th...

Re: 1958 Park Lane Phaeton
Hi, Just picked up an original Super Marauder intake with original 2 outer carbs. center carb is missing as well as linkage. If I cant find original Carb, is there a preferred replacement that would do the job? I have a few 2300 carbs off 58 and 59 Edsel and Tbird. What about aftermarket linkage? Is...

Re: 1958 Park Lane Phaeton, ID, Parts and Interchange
Thank you for your research. The body is marble white and it looks like the roof and projectile area are flamingo red although they have faded to what looks more like A rose or oxided mauve color. I will get some pictures off in a few day when I pick up the car and bring it home. Thanks again, Bill

Re: 1958 Park Lane Phaeton, ID, Parts and Interchange
I did find some info on my codes but if its not to much trouble i can double stitch my findings.
body 63c color 7 45 07 trim dso date b13 tr-fn engine says 8 1 w: 1 and 5751091 manifold 81j head 018

Thanks for the rapid response. Ive been on the net for weeks trying to find that info. My next search will be to find out how early in the year the engine was built. Theres some good info on the forum so I'm hoping I'm not going to have as much trouble.

1958 Park Lane Phaeton, ID, Parts and Interchange question
Looks like it isn't easy finding parts cars for the 58 Park Lane but I did locate one. Does anybody know what is interchangable off the Montereys and Montclairs? From what it looks like I have a longer roof and trunk. We had a car show yesterday at Johnsville Naval Base In PA and the MELs made a goo...
