
I suppose you've seen this photo on the Mt. Dora Boat Show thread. It's Cadillac power for the Cobra.
Chris Craft eventually turned over to Lincoln power, using the 430 and 431 cubic inch monster blocks, rated conservatively at 275-hp, but in stock automotive trim were 375-hp way back in 1958, so the potential is there.

Here's a sweet looking setup for three duces on the big Lincoln. Now thaaat would look nice inside the engine box of a big Chris Craft Continental, eh? I wouldn't recommend it for anything else, certainly not in a cruiser. We'll post some additional speed equipment for the MEL (Mercury Edsel Lincoln) big plank heads as we find it
