Lifter Bleeding

Checking valve clearance and I am need help bleeding the lifters.

What tool do you put on the rocker arm to push the push rod down to bleed the lifter?? I have had no luck finding anything localy and my homemade tool has a history of causing severe bleeding of the knuckles ....

Do you have a solid lifter that you can put in to check clearances?

You should have plenty of room in a truck to do this to get a rough idea of how much P-V clearance you have. If you set a dial indicator on the retainer you could get actual measurements.

That's the type of tool I need.Will the tool in the photo work on stock rocekers and if so, where can I get one??
