Measure the lobe lift to be sure

IIRC the "YA" marking can be either a 2v cam or a GT/CJ cam, the paint stripe gives added info if it's still there. Measuring the lobe centers, even if worn, should distinguish the two, or degree it for the 050 durations, those dont change much even with a worn cam.

According to the 1975 MPC, the C3AZ-6250-U cam used for 1965 and 1966 352 and 390 installed in car lines A and S (full-sized Ford and Thunderbird) is marked "YA".

Scott that is right

I was thinking of the YB and YBX cams, those can either be GT/CJ or solid 427 grinds depending on stripe color.

I think YA is likely the vanilla cam, 352/"300", 390/"300", 352/250, etc, about 186-186 duration at 050 and .232 lobe lift.
